Lord Hanuman, also known as Bajrangbali or Anjaneya, is one of the most revered deities in Hindu mythology. He is worshipped for his immense strength, wisdom, and devotion to Lord Rama. Hanuman is considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and his story is integral to the Hindu epic Ramayana.
Lord Hanuman was born to Anjana, an apsara cursed to live on earth as a monkey, and Kesari, the king of monkeys. According to Hindu mythology, Hanuman was born with a divine blessing, which gave him immense strength, speed, and the ability to fly. As a child, Hanuman was mischievous and often caused trouble for the other monkeys in his tribe. However, he soon discovered his true calling when he met Lord Rama, the prince of Ayodhya.

In the epic Ramayana, Lord Rama is exiled from his kingdom and must rescue his wife, Sita, who has been kidnapped by the demon king Ravana. Hanuman becomes a loyal follower of Lord Rama and helps him in his quest to rescue Sita. He travels across the ocean, defeats powerful demons, and brings back the herb that can heal Lord Rama’s injured brother Lakshmana.

Hanuman’s devotion to Lord Rama is unparalleled in Hindu mythology. He is known for his selflessness, courage, and unwavering faith in his lord. Hanuman’s famous quote, “When I do not know who I am, I serve You. When I know who I am, I am You,” is a testament to his devotion to Lord Rama.

Hanuman is also known for his immense physical strength. He is often depicted carrying a mountain on his shoulders, which he used to help Lord Rama and his army build a bridge across the ocean. Hanuman’s strength is seen as a symbol of his devotion and loyalty to Lord Rama.

Besides his strength and devotion, Hanuman is revered for his wisdom and intelligence. He is believed to be an expert in many fields, including music, medicine, and astrology. His devotees who believe he can help them overcome their problems and challenges often seek Hanuman’s wisdom.

In Hindu mythology, Hanuman is worshipped as a symbol of courage, strength, and devotion. His teachings are still relevant today, and his story continues to inspire millions of people worldwide. Hanuman’s message of selflessness, courage, and devotion to a higher power reminds us that we can all achieve greatness if we believe in ourselves and our abilities.
