Nick Fury started as a World War II soldier, serving in the United States Army. He was recruited into the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), a precursor to the CIA, and became a highly skilled spy and operative. In the MCU, Fury is a key figure in bringing together the Avengers, and he also plays a significant role in the fight against Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
